I love to hang out with my family & friends. I enjoy people, fitness, sunshine, hiking, photography, crafts, family history, church & gardening. I have been married to my husband Dale since June 11, 1976 (45 years) & have two sons; Ryan (40), married to Tracy & Mike (38), married to Kiah. I have two wonderful grandchildren Shannon (13) & Logan (11). I love, love, love being a grandma.

My Mom, Mona, is my sidekick, hero & inspiration. She is 91 years old & goes to 5 of my fitness classes each week (step, strength & tone, Better Bones, Balance & Strength).

I was majorette at Sehome High School, on the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol & water skied in competition all over the U.S. & Canada. I placed 2nd in the U.S. Nationals in Slalom Skiing.

Our family Dale, Ryan, Mike & I all ride unicycles. We started a club at Meridian Middle School when our kids were in 4th & 5th grades. We taught over 50 kids how to ride unicycles & we rode at some basketball halftimes & in parades.

I started teaching fitness classes at County Christian Center in 1987. I have taught at multiple fitness studios & clubs in Whatcom County and California (while vacationing). I was employed by the YMCA for 28 years-since June of 1992 (taught in Bellingham, Ferndale & Lynden) and by Homestead Fitness (H-FIT) since 2002 & am a sub at Forge Fitness.
