Bone Density Classes: better bones & balance®

Created by researchers at Oregon State University, Better Bones & Balance classes focus on balance, light cardio, resistance exercises and stretching. Classes aim to improve strength, improve bone density and reduce risk of falls.

These classes are offered in-studio and zoom for home viewing.

*JOP also offers Reformer classes and Private training that are flexion-free and ideal for students with Osteopenia/Osteoporosis precautions.

Pilates & Props

We offer a variety of Mat Pilates classes for all fitness levels. Our Pilates classes include a variety of formats that include classical & contemporary Pilates, therapeutic stretching, Springboard, flexion-free and advanced core workouts. Props keep our classes fun and exciting! Props include: magic circle, dynaband, foam roller, bosu, overball and arc barrel. Props keep our classes fun and exciting!

 

Reformer

**New Students must have one Private before taking a Reformer class to assess level and learn equipment safety.**

The Reformer provides finely-tuned exercise resistance that allows you to work precisely to develop good alignment, a strong core, sculpted muscles and flexibility. Class sizes are limited so each student gets quality attention and focus.

Using STOTT and BBU Pilates equipment, we offer four levels of classes: Mindful, Essential, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Springboard

Springboard Pilates is a dynamic, full-body workout, utilizing TRX and a variety of props!

The class will begin with a warm-up to prepare your body for the exercises ahead. You'll then move through a series of exercises that will focus on building core strength, improving balance, increasing flexibility, and toning your muscles. Each exercise will be tailored to your skill level, so beginners and advanced students alike can benefit from the class.

 

TRX® & Circut

JOP offers classes using the TRX Suspension Trainer™ to incorporate body-weight exercises for development of strength, balance, flexibility and core stability.

This super fun class will alternate between TRX and Circuit stations.  TRX uses your body-weight to gain strength and heart health! Through Suspension Training and body-weight exercise you will all your body

This is an circuit class, so be ready to try new exercises and get FIT. Start your day with a high-intensity workout!

 

Weights & Strength

This is an AWESOME class for FULL BODY 360 strengthening!

This class uses weights, bands & other small props to work your muscles to get stronger!

Props include heavy & light weights, dynaband, mat for floor exercises. Indoor shoes recommended.

Class goes down to floor. Not recommended for knee/shoulder issues.

YOGA

Iyengar Yoga is a form of alignment-based yoga which uses language, props, and timings to bring strength, flexibility and freedom into the body & the mind.

 

Zumba/ Cardio

 Routines will feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Join us in this exciting dynamic fitness class! 

 
 

Our super FUN fitness classes include a variety of strength, cardio, dance and toning options incorporating weights, big ball, step, and other exercise equipment. Classes for all levels. These classes will motivate you towards your fitness goals.

** We recommend indoor-only fitness shoes for these classes.
