Certified in Iyengar Yoga - Level 1 CIYT
Gentle, Introductory, Beginner, Intermediate Levels
Kerensa has been studying many forms of yoga for 22 years, but in the last 10 years she has dedicated her practice to the Iyengar method - an alignment-based form of yoga that allows the student to experience health and healing through the postures, bringing a deeper connection to the mind and body. She recently completed the Iyengar teacher training at Yoga Northwest in Bellingham and has studied under many other teachers, including a direct descendent of the Iyengar lineage, in pursuit of her completion of certification for Level 1 CIYT.
She has been diligent and persistent on her yoga journey and has been begun actively teaching for over a year.
Although newer to the teaching world, Kerensa has taught many levels of classes (Gentle, Flow, Introductory, Beginner, and Intermediate) and has a deep understanding of the methodology and benefits of the practice. She is passionate about sharing yoga with others.
Off the mat, Kerensa is active with 2 young sons as well as maintaining a fitness routine with running, strength training, snowboarding, hiking, plus traveling and other hobbies!
