Highlights & Experience:
Group exercise and personal trainer (ACE), including TRX since 2013. Teaching Group and Private Mat & Reformer classes since 2016. Currently Beverly is teaching online mat classes to group and private clients since COVID.
She was the Co-owner and manager of a Pilates studio in California from 2015 through 2020.
Fun Facts about Beverly:
Beverly is a passionate potter—she even has her own wheel!
At home, she's surrounded by a lively crew of friends, including eight chickens, two playful dogs (pictured below with her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Lila & Ruby), two cats, and three goats. But the most special of all? Her wonderful husband, the Love of Her Life.
And, of course, Beverly has a deep love for Pilates!
Philosophy toward exercising:
Determine your health and fitness goals and then decide how you can reach those goals. There are many ways to reach fitness goals. Pick an exercise program(s) that you like and that you can afford to sustain based on time, energy and money. Be consistent - some exercise in a day is better than no exercise in a day. Always work smart and work hard as needed/desired. Work the entire body (heart and lungs too) and eat whole, nutrient rich foods in moderation. Have fun. Find a workout community that you can give to and leave feeling better about life. Be kind to yourself - fitness is a journey. Exercising is the ultimate form of self care and the most important investment that you can make for your future.
