Sarah Lewis

Sarah Lewis is a new instructor in training at Joy! Sarah first came to Joy of Pilates after a major knee surgery and credits Pilates with helping her recover her mobility and help her gain strength.

Her background is in ballet and modern dance. Sarah has taught dance classes for 20 years and currently teaches at Dancing for Joy here in Bellingham.

Sarah likes to work with people and help them change their negative thought patterns to see themselves as physically strong, capable, and able to experience vibrant health.

Sarah can’t seem to spend enough time at JOY and loves not only the classes, but also the community and support to become stronger.

She is training to become a Pilates instructor through Balanced Body University and looks forward to learning methods and techniques for passing on her love of Pilates.

Although Sarah loves dance and Pilates, her true loves are her husband and 4 wonderful children. They are the reasons she wants to be happy, healthy, and able to enjoy life fully!
