Kate Hillmon is trained through Balanced Body and has a BS in Kinesiology from Western Washington University. She is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine, and she is certified as both a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Kate has been a recreational runner for 12+ years. Kate and her husband have run over 12 marathons injury free. Her highlights include running an Ultra (32 miles) and is an active long distance back packing over 500 miles. She recognizes cross training and Pilates for her ability to stay injury free.
